Connecting data
How to connect a client's Meta ad account
Connect your agency's Meta login once, then link each client to their own ad account. Clientdeck only reads the numbers. It never changes, pauses or creates anything in a client's ads.
1. Connect Meta
Open the client's page, find the Meta ad account card and choose Connect Meta. You can also start from Integrations. Log in with Meta and approve access when asked. You do this once for your whole agency, not once per client.
2. Choose the client's ad account
Back on the client's page, pick their ad account from the list and choose Save. Each client links to one ad account, and their reports only ever pull from that one. If an account is missing from the list, the Meta login you used can't see it. Get access to it in Meta, then reconnect.
3. Narrow it down if you want
When you build a report, choose what to report on: the whole account, one campaign, one ad set or a single ad. Then pick a date range. A report on one campaign for the month works exactly the same way as a report on the whole account.
4. The numbers flow in on their own
Once the account is linked, Clientdeck pulls the numbers when you build a report. No exports and no pasting. Scheduled reports pull fresh numbers every time they run.
It is read only
Clientdeck asks Meta for permission to read ad performance, and nothing else. It can't edit budgets, pause ads or publish anything, and it never reads private messages. You can disconnect any time from Integrations.
If something looks wrong
Open Integrations and reconnect Meta. Your clients' ad account links stay as they are. To point one client at a different account, open their page, choose Unlink, then pick the new account.
Next: build a report
With the account linked, you're ready to build your first report. Building and editing a report
